they have their specs listed wrong on the site but...
compare:
Shop Kobalt Compact Low-Profile Truck Box at Lowes.com
Shop Kobalt Slim Line Compact Truck Tool Box at Lowes.com
beyond all that, it looks great. i'd do it but i want mine in blue liner to match the truck... so will probably end up doing line x.

it's worth noting they have a couple different ones at lowes. pretty sure his is the slim one (and by slim i don't mean low profile. which it also is) and the one you (and i) have are low profile but are wider. that said its probably isnt much different. thought i'd point it out.

Thought of reinforcing it at times but really it's fine as it is. bedliner probably helps make it noticeably tougher, though i'm not sure. maybe if we knew someone with bedliner on a kobalt toolbox.... hmm.

I'm gonna have to do this once it warms up! Haha.
I'll second the fact that the box really isn't THAT small. I have a 128 piece tool set, a bag with emergebcy supplies(flares, first aid, extra bulbs/fuses, blanket etc) , a 2 gallon gas can, and a floor jack and my 12v impact wrench, plus random quad parts haha. The only downfall is the angled sides obviously but for my quads(or your bike zak) I actually LOVE the angle because it doesn't block the tie downs at the front of the bed

Kobalt toolboxes from Lowes are the cheapest new option I have seen available. The aluminum is definitely thinner than some, specifically to tractor supply I can't say, but my friend had a UWB and it was much more solid. my kobalt flexes if i sit/stand on it (but really why would you that often?) i'm certainly happy with kobalt for the price.

Hey ty
Not sure if you have any liner setup on the inside of the box but lowes has rolls of the tool box drawer rubber liner for like $7 and its dang near perfect length(maybe 1/2" short) to cover the WHOLE bottom of the box including the slant and ends. I just used some spray on adhesive so it held in place better when I'm taking junk out

Haha nice. Yeah I happened to have a roll at home and saw it said 72" so its perfect. Only complaint I have about my box is then I use the latch on the drivers side it doesn't fully release the passenger side one so I gotta walk around the dang truck haha. Probably a simple fix but I'm lazy lmao
