I took the top off yesterday when I left work to go to a meeting and as I was driving to the meeting I started to see it get darker. Well when I got to the meeting it started to rain a little. Since it is the summer if it rains it does it for all of 12 seconds so nothing got wet although the interior and exterior are absolutely filthy because of all the dirt that got kicked up. So I am off to clean it now.

And for those wondering about gas mileage versus the F150, here is the story. I am getting around 275 miles per tank on the jeep or right around 17 MPG mixed with no doors on. It cost me about $55 to fill it up and it lasts me the week or just under depending on what I do on my days off. The F150 was $100 to fill up, I was getting around 320 miles per tank and was at about 13 MPG. So it is a gain and I will get better mileage with the doors on it has just been super hot and nice out so I have no desire to put them on. I have 2200 miles on it and about 300 are with the doors and the rest are doorless.

I'll post a picture in a bit.

Looks good. It never made sense to me why they put such small tires on those stock. Especially the newer ones with the wider fenders, they just look out of place and almost goofy.

Yup. We had this conversation a few pages back and I can't figure it out either. Whatever, they will come off soon enough.

Yea. I think just a small lift and 35s with flat fenders look perfect. Anything bigger and it becomes even more impractical.

Plans are a 3" lift, bumpers, 35's and gears. Not sure if I will get flat fenders or not. Depends how stuffed the tires are.

Look into it. It is still going to be super expensive with an upgrade. Well into the $700 range and I have no need for a new one as I got my 4 as soon as the 4s came out so its a little under a year old. I am perfectly happy with it.
