Nice! I just got back from the JY tearing apart a 87 TC. Going to buy the short black just for the pistons, rods, and crank. Hopefully going to bring it home in a day or two.....Is that the JCWracing header?? Wish he had them in stock....

yes its the jcwracing header. the turbo is a hx35w. motor will be dipped hopefully soon.

plans as of right now:
-felpro 1035 headgasket- bought
-255 fuel pump
-roller cam- bought
-60# injectors
-port&polish head
-welded shut internal wastegate
-run external wastegate off of header
-stock pistons as of right now.
-90mm maf
-replace all sensors and ignition components.

What kind of intake are you going to run? (shameless plug:) I've got a 87 TC intake i'll sell you...

 

lol you dont need one at 30lbs :) ill worry about it later. truck isnt even in the garage. im going to take measurements down the road and figure out how its all being routed.
