Seeing the truck like that is always the worst, no matter if you're 1/2 dead or have a severed leg, a totaled truck just plain hurts! RIP Ranger.

Did you break the gear selector off during the wreck? I don't see it in the interior picture. That blue interior is really rare.

Glad you are ok.

i only had liability so nothing from the insurance.
and the gear selector is still there you can just barely see the end of it above the keys.
thanks everyone.
and if anyone needs any parts off of it i can see if its good and let you know. some people are supposed to come by my house and look at it and let me know if they are interested.
I couldnt believe that it cost $290 to get it from the wreckers and $100 to towe it to my house 20 miles away.

I never understood why people only get liability only, because if you total out a vehicle than your completely out one now its not that much for for full insurance..

your 17 with a major accident charged to you and haven't held a full time job ever. good luck getting low financing or even a new truck. i'll bet you didn't even have collision insurance on the splash, did you?

no i didnt have collision insurance, im still in school, i work 6 days a week, i have a 5 month old son, and i pay for everything. The dealership i bought my truck from knows that pay on time, so he trusts me to finance another truck even though i have no credit, he just doesnt have any at the moment but he is looking for me a new one.

Wow could you afford full coverage when you we in high school?

His credit really isn't in question here, if your not 18 you can't sign for a loan so aint no bank giving you money anyway.

You are lucky and I glad to hear you made it out in one piece. I would highly recommend full coverage, if not full coverage everything except collision when your financially able. That's what I have even though my truck is about to be 10 years old. I also had a wreck but it wasn't my fault as I was hit by another driver in my lane. The wreck itself was very expensive.

Trees and deer love vehicles where I live so yeah the deductible will be easily reached between those two. Even though I've yet to claim comprehensive on this truck and I've had the truck since July of 2005...
:knock on wood:

I hope you have luck finding a new one.

1.Thats 500 more he would have than he does now with having liability, and they would give him more than that anyways

2.Yes I did, along with paying for my own gas and the truck on top of it along with mods nothing was given to me
