So as soon as this other part arrives they are going to get welded i think, do you reccomend mig or tig on these, ive been told tig but since you made them and have them on your truck already what do you reccomend
I would just Mig them on. that is how mine are done and that is how the sliders were welded together. Not sure why you would tig them? Maybe a bit of added strength but mig is easy enough.
When you do the drivers side watch the heat because of the electrical wires and fuel line on the back side of the frame. I tried to pull them away from the frame some or made sure they were not touching the frame before i welded them on. I have done 5-6 sets without any hassles with the fuel line and electrical wires melting.

Got my box of parts yesterday. Got the right side mocked up this afternoon and tack welded on. Left side will be mocked up tomorrow and will hopefully have them on Thursday. Sorry no pics yet.
are you running a BL or not?

LOL, I was going to ask you about the fuel lines....dont have to now
So I finally got some tube and came up with my final design.
Give me some feedback and let me know what you think and if you would be interested.
I am looking for 3-4 people that want to be the first to get a set. Within the 48 states. PM me if your interested. I wont have the first set done until End of Feb and I will need a deposit.
So here are the pics.

After paint I will get some better outside pics. Later this week I hope.

Zach, you need a Nikon DSLR in a bad way!!!!
The plates actually hand below the frame just a little, not much though. I have never see the purpose of a 1" BL, but in this case it would have been a little helpful. It's a tight squeeze.
