1995 2.3 to a 93, 2.3 intake and harnesses crank sensor issue

Can I wire up the crank sensor in 95 2.3 engine to work with the 93 ranger intake and electronics?

Bought the wrong long block and looking for different opinions to make it work New to this site any help would be appreciated.

No, 1994 and earlier were Hall Effect sensors
1995 and up used Variable Reluctance(VR) sensors, so 1993 computer can't understand VR sensor, and no way to "convert/change" VR signal to Hall Effect signal

Can you swap the front cover so Hall Effect can be used?
