I need anyone thats willing to help. Last year I bought a 1996 Ford Ranger 2WD with a
2.3L inline 4, and I put the K&N filter on it and was looking at exhaust, but what I was really wondering is if I can do an engine swap to a V6 or V8 without spending $1000 or more. Any information would be helpful.

 

junkyard....craigslist....anything is possible if you find the right deal and you know what you're getting into.

if you can find a whole donor vehicle for less than 1000, you'll basically have 90% of what you need, minus mounts, oil filter relocation (if v8) , exhaust, and any other oddball items.

the search feature is your friend when it comes to this....and also your knowledge of vehicles and fabrication skills.
