Cylinder Head Plug
Cylinder Head Plug
Ok, I just bought this 1989 Ford Ranger with the 2.3 Engine. The Seller told me that there was a blown freeze plug on the back side of the head...WRONG the coolant leak was on the exhaust side of the head..right underneith the metal pipe coming off of the exhaust manifold crossing over the top into the intake manifold. I can feel the hole with my finger, and its about a 1/2 to 5/8 inch threaded hole,,, Like some type of sensor would be installed,,,Is this some type of plug missing???
HELP ME PLEASE
