just wondering if a fuel pump from a 89 Mustang will work in my 1994 2.3. I have a new pump already for a mustang and would like to use it if it will work. I know the mustang pump is 88lph. I searched the web and found pictures of both and the pumps look the same just different parts in the kits.

 

IIRC someone tried that a couple years ago and found that the Mustang pump would not reach all the way to the bottom of the tank.
