I have a 94 2.3L Ranger with 395,000 miles. Leaving the airport on 07/06 I lost power and it sounded real funny. Beyond my knowledge so off to Merchants who said it was bad ignition leads. I replaced all 8 leads and regapped the spark plugs to .040-.044. Still running on 2 cylinders. Took it back and they replace one coil on it. Called back again telling me that BOTH number one and BOTH number 4 spark plugs are not firing. I figure this eliminates a bad loil, so what do I look for next.
