hey all, my '87 2.0 won't idle worth a damn . i realize that's a fairly broad statement but it is what it is. when i start it ,it act like the choke is stuck .......all day . blackish smoke , brings tears to your eyes, you know what i'm saying. so what do you think it is? thanks for the help!

 

Bluish smoke is oil, Whiteish smoke is water, I'm not sure, but isn't Blackish smoke a very rich burn?

 

Ya, I think your right. Cause I'm also averaging like 18 to the gallon hwy out of a 2 litre , which is crap!
