T-Bird to Ranger

Ive got a 87' Turbo 2.3 Motor and I'm building a Rod starting with a 89' Ranger Frame. The Ranger was a V6 Truck. I've got all mounts from the T-Birds and Ranger and can't see a way to bolt the motor. Can I get some help?

Have a look here: The Ranger Station - Engine & Fuel Systems Library

There are 3 articles on 2.3l turbo swaps into Rangers, motor mounts should be there

Sorry but in those three articles nothing to do with motor mounts. I truly appreciate it though.

It says in one of those that the 2.3l turbo can use the Ranger 2.3l motor mounts, which you don't have but can get.

'89 frame should be pre-drilled for for those since 2.3l was an option that year, but can't say for sure.

Ok, The thing is that where this V6 Ranger has the mounts like really almost solid. The 2.3 motor has like donut mounts w/studs and a pin locator on either end.If you remove the mount off the V6 frame you will need an plate for the 2.3 mount to bolt to You would have to have an different plate bolted onto the frame to mount the 2.3 mount to. I unbolted the 2.3 mounts off the 87' T-Birds and you will need to have an different style of mounting plate on the Ranger frame to match up w/the 2.3 style mount.
