Truck looks great! Seems a litle low for an almost 39 inch. Tire though. X2 on the glass bedsides and fenders.

I have been wanting something like these

but I am nervous about dropping around a $1000 on something that in all honesty will get destroyed in the rocks.

With the leafs and XJ shackles it only has around 4.5-5" of lift in the rear and a smidge more than that in the front. Frame height is about perfect for rocks according to all of the local guys I wheel with. Personally I like how low it is in comparison to the tires. I didn't want a BGTL lift.

Going to probably just cut above the flare and keep the stock shape. Might leave the front as is for now and see how much it needs to trim if any.

Cut out flares would look good on there to. Personally I think if you cut the back then you should do the front to match.

cut out flares don't remove enough to make them worthwhile.

Cleaned up the pair of balding TSL's

The one on the left still has a little bit to go. They both still have 1/4-3/8" left of tread so hopefully they last me a season.

Whole axle welded

3rd link mount (frame side) with tab for double sheer

Other side of the 3rd link mount

Truck should be done tomorrow pretty much down to brakes, bumpstops, and power steering lines.

Pretty much done. Needs the E350 master cylinder installed (will do at home), longer pitman arm (will do at home), front gears/locker, brakes pads/rotors and the compressor wired up.

Those tires still look huge for how low it is. Truck looks great though. I honestly can't wait to see some action shots of this thing.

Should have some nice ones next weekend after I trim the fenders. I still need to hit the passenger side tire with a groover. I also didn't want any kind of large lift on the truck. It looks better low than 10 feet in the air.

Missed a photo had to put a 1" block in. Solid steel entire length of the spring perch and screwed into the leaf pack.
