you know those axles under the giant *** billion cubic foot dump trucks? Thats about as big as you can go.

and yes a 9" will fit, and I would highly recommend it.

except its not a solid axle, its 2 beams that pivot in the middle.. I would almost take SLA over TTB.

and its "just" got axle shafts in it.. my D44, had axle shafts, a D60 JUST has axle shafts in it..

you're not ready to tackle a solid axle swap.. seriously. sorry.

I wouldn't go saying coils are the *easiest*

he's also got coil springs (correct?) meaning he's probably gotta hack apart his frame and fix/make it into a rectangle again..

I concur. Not that ive done one, but I think leafs would be the easiest. Coilovers would be the obvious best, and would be easier than doing a coil-spring setup with separate shocks.

i never said i was going to do a SAS, just thinkin about it, and i was saying that i would rather have the 4x4 setup that the truck in the pictures has, than an IFS 4x4 setup with axle shafts.

Matt was implying that a 2wd has axleshafts in the rear, not the front. Either way, the TTB is still IFS and pretty lame compared to a solid axle.
