Cutting off just one coil would have given u a 2" drop.

heres another thing i found, looks like they clamp the coils to make them shorter. youll need new stock coils for this, but its cheaper than the belltech drop coils:

i think the back needs to be droped some more too but it may just be the pics if not you can pick up shackels/hangers pretty cheap that should get rid of the nose dive i went with the DJM 2/3 and i want either the 4/5 or 5/7 I WANT MOAR!!!!! but i may buy it piece buy piece lol IE control arms then shackels and hangers for the back or acuallty i could just remove the shackels from then back i think hmmmm anyone know?

this is the rear kit i have so could i remove the shackels and get an extra drop? that'll save me some money and i can buy new shocks! yay

the front is nose dived so much because i cut my coils TOO much and it gave me more drop than i need. lastnight i was driving around nad becauase my camber is so off it was forcing my lugs to come undone after driving 2 blocks.
VERY dangerous...so now im not gonna drive it untill i get new coils put it. its too sketchy

just take it to a shop and have them align it as much as they can its not even that much of a drop to be sketchy you just need an alignment.

This is why you dont do things the cheap way

i did take it to a shop. dude said the wheels were 5 degrees negative and a new camber kit would only correct 3 degrees of it. so i think ill just get new coils and only trim one coil off. forget 140 bux for 3 degrees. i wonder how easy itll be to find new coils at pickapart

you will need to get it aligned regardless and probably still gonna need a camber kit to correct the 3 degrees or so that it is going to be off after you drop it again, right? Should be pretty easy, dunno about where your going exactly but there's usually a yard that has the newer vehicles in it that you pay another $2 for to get into and it will have more rangers from our gen.

I thought your buddy was hooking you up and you were getting all the parts for free like the alignment eccentrics i mentioned earlier you might of wanted to put in while it was all tore apart?

im just gonna snag some out of a JY and only cut one off. that should correct the majority of the camber. i didnt have them allign it at the shop because they said all they could do was change the toe angle. wich wouldnt help the camber situation

just buy some drop coils, or stock ones and dont cut them and get dream beams.

if you cant afford to do it the right way dont do anything at all.

oh yea did i mention that the ranger i got those off of was supported on the pipe/tire things they use to lift the vehicles BY THE SWAY BARS.. WTF... as soon as i unbolted that ***** to drop the ibeam the whole thing shifted and i thought i was gonna get crushed..

also never forget your socket wrench at home and bring all the necessary sockets.. you end up using a c wrench and a non adjustable wrench.. wich causes you to bust knuckles open when they slip
