They are TOYOTA's - NOT Deavers. But the Deaver's I had in the rear before with the RCD rode great.

I really like the high steer and your steering setup, BEEF. I kinda wish you would have went with coils but still looks good with the leafs.

is the lean getting better? or does it still lean pretty bad? Sway bar would prolly make it better.
Yeah I'm pretty happy and proud of the steering. Coils would have been nice, but the Waggy axle was more accessable than and F-150 or Bronco seemed to be. At the time I really didn't have as much knowledge about front suspensions in general. Now that I have what I do under my belt, I'd feel alot more comfortable and confident about going with a coil setup. Maybe in the future.

I'm curious though - how is the ride with coils? Similar to that of IFS? I'd imagine not as nice, but still gotta be nicer than leafs!

The ride is not bad but its not great either. I would say it rides a bit worse then stock, hard to compare to leaf sprung as i have not rode in one yet.

Your steering is hella stronger than mine, kinda wish i would have jsut gone D44 so i could get the high steer but that would just mean i spent more money. lol

the hub shouldnt have much to do with your bearings. Id check your spindle nut torque specs, maybe your over torqueing them causing them to fail. the hub simply transmits the power from the shafts to the wheel.

lol, i'll bump the old azz thread too. But i have a question, I got the waggy axle too and i'm wandering how you mounted the driver's side leaf perch to the axle. Did you weld it? Cause i was looking at mine and the only place i could weld it looks like the drivers side of the pumpkin that the axle tube slides into. And i thought that was made of cast, and I've tried to weld cast/steel before and it didn't work. Thanks for the help, Sorry for the jack, I tried to find this info on a few different threads with no luck.

And BTW, trucks looks sick, exactly what i'm going for. :)

you have to preheat the cast before you can weld to it. there is a ton info out there on it.

If I remember correctly they ground the top of the pumpkin out and then welded on a perch.
