Whhhaaaaa Hooooo!!!!!!

Alright so today i picked up the rest of the parts to lift the front.....i cant even say how happy i am, this project has been comin along a lot better than i expected. Now the only problem is i wont be able to finish the fron untill sunday, for one i ordered new studs that bolt the radius arms to the beams and they wont be here untill tommorrow but i gotta work tommorrow friday and saturday , and what really annoyed me today was how the dealership charged me 20 bucks a stud!! but i got no choice cause theyres no place that i can get them cept from the dealership. So im gonna have to leave you guys hangin with a bunch of pictures of the goodies, enjoy!

rad arms, shocks, springs, crossmember.

radius arm.

Spring, shock.

here is the transmission crossmember, i welded another piece of thick wall tubing inside of the crossmember to give it extra strengh.

here is the old shock and new one, BIG difference!

here is the old spring and new one, again big difference.

here is the painted sway bar attached to the new end link.

so thats what i have so far, and i will post pics as im finishing the front on sun and post the finished result! Sorry to keep ya guys waiting.... lol

maybe i will!!! lol

i got bored last nite and got an idea, since my shocks came white with no stickers or logos on it i decided to make a stencil of the "skyjacker hydro 7000" and came out with this. i printed off a copy of the size i wanted then put double sided tape on the back, used a scalpol to cut out the letters and cut the spaces out and kept them for when i painted. once everything wus cut out set it on the shock and painted one color first, let it dry ocver it up andpainted the second color the next day and voila. its not the greatest job as you can see but i like it, so for those who dont like it jks lol

lol i would except.....its minus 10 outside and theres some snow around the truck, if im off work early tmw ill clean the snow and heat the ground to evap the water, throw on a couple sweaters and gloves and finish off the front.! ill be sure to post some pics of it flexing, although it will look funny with 6" of lift and the front and nothing in the back. ohwell.

P.S. i also removed that bolt from the front diff. Do you think it would be possible to do what i said about gettin the 8" lift leafs and removing the blocks and stil gettin 6" of lift, cuz its got the stock 2" blocks, i looked at the skyjacker site and the leafs they list for the six inch kit are only 4 inch lift leafs, and the 8 inch ones are 6 inch lift leafs.....so do you think that could work?? instead of doin the chev leafs swap.
