anyone??

the 6" lifted leafs will only lift 6" with the factory block....without it they only lift 4".....same with the 4" lift springs...they only lift 4" with the fractory block....without it they only have a 2" lift...

unless i am blind, they only make 2 sets of leaf springs for rangers.....a 4" lift with stock lift blocks and a 6" lift with factory blocks....they dont make a 8" lift with factory blocks for rangers...

they do make a 8" lift, but it comes with the 6" lifted leafs and then a 4" block to replace the stock block with......

whenever there site comes back up today i will look again......

got it vv
http://www.skyjacker.com/products-se...mber=138RHKS-A

6" leafs but u get the 8inch lift with the stock blocks, im doin the 6" lift so if i get the 6inch leafs from the 8inch kit then i can eliminate the blocks and get the 6inchs of lift instead of 8???

if you take the part #(FR36S) off the leaf springs and then search under products for it, they are the 6" springs that give you 6" of lift with the factory blocks.....

here is the link to the springs themselves.....look under the Footnotes....
http://www.skyjacker.com/products-se...ail-number.asp

it says (quoted right off Skyjackers website)...

this really isnt making any sense......

ok it says theyre *6inch leafs* it says you can remove the factory blocks to get rid of 2-3 inches, if you add 2-3 inches to 6inch leafs then its 8-9 inches with leafs and blocks, im working on the 6inch kit so if i was to order to the rear leafs for the six inch kit they wud send me 4inch lifted leafs and i would have to use the stock blocks to get the 6inches of lift.

correct.....if you get the 6" lifted leaf springs, then you will have to use your factoy blocks to get the full 6" of lift......if you take out the factory lift blocks, then you will only get about 3-4" of lift from the 6" lifted leaf springs.....

but arent those 6" leafs on their own with out the blocks?

EDIT: just called skyjacker and they are 6" leafs with out the blocks, they said i could remove my stock blocks and get the 6" of lift wiht out the blocks, cuz in the 6" kit they give 4" springs and in the 8" kit they give 6" springsso that means i can eliminate the blocks and use the leafs from the 8" kit.

well.....i think someone needs to update their site.....cause the way it states on their site, that the only way to get the 6" lift was with your factory blocks.....

thanks for calling and clearing that up....

no prob, cause if you think about you would have to use 4' blocks plus 4" lifted leafs to get 8"s of lift from the 8" kit and that would be reallllyy sketchy, but thats sweet that they make actual 6" leafs cuz then its bye bye stock blocks :D, and that saves me time and money from doing the chvy leafs swap, btw srry if i was frustating you there...lol

na it would be pointless....the only reason Ford says they put them out there is for "ride quality"..........
