ACTUAL DIFFERENCES BETWEEN COIL SPRING AND TORSION BAR LIFT SPINDLES?

Hey all, I'm thinking of putting xlt lift spindles on my 97 mountaineer. I know this subject has been covered. Nobody details out the actual differences. After extensive searching, the only thing i can deduce is that the brake caliper brackets and calipers are different between the models due to larger rotors. No body seems to elaborate on if the brakes are interchangeable and if anything else is different about the spindles; as in ball joint spacing, spindle snout location, etc.

If anybody can confirm that the brakes are the only differences between the spindles, I'll get this swap done and will do extensive reporting back here with pics for future searches.

I'm a mechanic with my own shop, i've had several fords so I know how many little things ford likes to change between model years and models.
I just got done building this bronco for a customer. I Started out with a stock 89 bronco in feb.

Update- I just found out from Brandon at BTF that the upper ball joint hole is larger in the edge spindles. Which makes sense, seeing as they use the same suspension as the 4x4 units, ford installed a stronger BJ.
