Ok Final suspension thread haha =)
Ok so I have a 2wd truck thats stock height. The plan right now is to get springtech spindles (3") and the Chevy lowering shackles. Im open on the brand of spindles because I plan on trail running and dont know how well springtech spindles are made, is there a better brand thats sturdy and not stupidly expensive?
I also plan on getting some new bilstein shocks eventually for the truck which are equiped for 3-6" of lift. Although the front wont be lifted (to where it needs a shock) the rear will need new ones. So my question is if I run a shock ment for lift in the front will that be bad in that when I flex would it bottom the shock out quicker limiting the flex and hurting the shock?
Also with a 4.10 rear end, I was orginally planning on 31x10.5x15, however for trail running should I go the bigger 32x11.5x15? I love the look to but dunno if it would really be worth the bigger tire?
Oh and on a side note, with black rims would you run a tire with white walls on the outside where its visable or on the inside where its not? I have a charcoal color truck and would probably have a silver center cap (probably stock ford one unless the pro comps come with a different center cap)
Thanks!
