100 misc brackets
100 steering box
3700 with prolly another 500 (at least) or so in small crap left to buy
those are the big ticket items for me, and I still have more to buy.
if you total my whole build you can double that number then add some.

It depends a LOT on what you end up doing. You could probably throw an SAS conversion under a truck for under a grand... but to do it right, and to do it well... you'd be looking at 5k or so I think.
My samurai is already solid axled, and i'll be spending about 1800-2k just building D44s for it.
