if you opt to rent a ball joint press you'll need to also get the special ford adapters for the press. Ask me how I know and I'll link you to a post on here LOL.

I'm on the same page as well. I need to get my balljoints and tie rod ends replaced as well. This time I'm getting grease fittings on them so they may last longer.

just search rock auto discount, it will come up lol. there are like a gazzilion posts on here.
