Balljoint question !

i think its my balljoint?? when i push down on the front driverside fender it makes a big squeek and even when i turn the steering wheel left and right it squeeks, sounds like powersteering pump but much louder and its not the pump. ... is that my lower balljoint and if it is is it hard to change? do i have to press it out? 2002 ranger edge
