camber bolt install

I have been through hell trying to get an alignment on my 2001 ranger edge and on my last trip to the shop they told me I needed new camber bolts. I put them in and took it back and the technician told me that on the driver side I need to switch the bolt direction from going outward ⬅➡ to inwards ➡⬅ even though the passenger side is going outward ⬅➡. I tried taking my truck to another shop and they just came back with other excuses as to why they couldn't do my alignment, I just wanted to know if anyone could tell me if the direction of the bolts matter? Or if I could just turn them around and try once more to get an alignment.

The nut should be on the inside IIRC. It might make a difference, but I doubt it.

Find an alignment specific shop, all of my bolts face out, nuts are installed on the out side of the upper a arm mounts.
