The Ford Ranger Edge is an awesome platform to use as a true off-road truck.

Only thing i dont like about it is that it widens the front trac...works well in the desert, at fast speeds, but slow crawling in the woods, on narrow trails...wider is not necessarily better

Hmm. In reading the description, the 6" of lift are obtained by a 3.5" spindle and 2.5" torsion bar crank. So can someone explain to this layman why I would spend 1500 on a camburg kit when I can just get fabtech or pro-comp spindles for much less? Are the a-arms worth it, and what specifically would I gain by replacing the a-arms?
