I have a 02 ranger 3.0l RWD

I bought a front suspension kit for my truck recently and while doing the brakes today I realized I have a two piece upper control arm instead of one. I read some people say that they're interchangeable and some say they're not? Can someone confirm this. Has anyone swapped out to a one piece and had zero problems? Ill also be installing camber bolts for better alignment

 

After a few years, Ford apparently decided it was unnecessary, eliminated the 2-piece PS arm and substituted the one piece. You should be able to do the same without issue. You WILL need to have it aligned afterward.
