Torsion Bar help
I have read numerous threads about this but it aint working for me. I read that you should jack up the truck to where the wheels are off the ground, leaving the amount of height between the tire and ground that you want to gain. Then, turn the bolts until the tire hits the ground. Now, assuming I was supposed to raise the truck by the frame, not the arms, I could see no difference as I cranked. I was turning clockwise to tighten it. Could someone please explain exactly what to do. I mean, it doesnt seem like this should be such a big deal but maybe I am missing something. Thanks,
Shane

sorry for responding to an old post. i didnt want people yelling at me for making a new post with this topic. if i crank my t bars should i do the right side more since it sits lower than the drivers side? also i read to go clockwise to rise the front but where would 12 o'clock be? at the front of the truck facing forward?
thanks in advance for some help.

I adjusted one side differently from the other to help get the truck closer to level from side to side. For leveling I didn't use the body height for my measurements, I used the suspension ride height measurement technique described in the Ford mechanics manual. When I was finished the height at the top of the left and right wheel wells did end up being very close to the same height.
