Would worn out shocks be too rough? My ride is pretty rough on normal street roads. going into some curbed driveways, I almost knock my head on the cab. My wife doesn't really like to ride in it...but only bothers me a bit.

I emailed the previous owner (friend of my wife) who owned it since it was 2 years old and she never put shocks on it. so I'm guessing I have the original shocks still. Truck is at 164k miles and I think I just want a confirmation that it is time. Last time I messed with shocks was 15 years ago when I put them on my dad's '77 K5 blazer...and he was the one that bought them (hint: I was 14-ish).
