the chevy D44 flattops are 5x5.5, that may be what hes running...

Dodge has flattops on a lot of their D44s also and they are 5x5.5 too

Chevy flat tops are not 5x5.5. They can be made to run the 5.5 pattern with a mix of chevy and ford parts, but stock they are 6x5.5.

mazda98 is running them, but he had to machine part of the knuckle down to get the caliper to work. if this is what you have and have access to machining it can be done, is it the strongest? no.

if you want 5on5.5 and high steer, buy the Reid racing knuckles or buy the mixture of chevy and ford parts.
