fabtech spindles with stock rims?

I've heard mixed reviews but i still wondering if the fabtech edge spindles will work with 4.5" backspacing stock rims. I have some 3/16" spacers i could use, can anyone help me out?

I found this pic on my H/D of an edge with fabtech shocks and what looks to be fabtech spindles (im assuming)

I don't have a edge but when I put fabtech spindles (3") on I had the stock rims, and I had the stock rims on with the 2.5" coils and UCA's for a bit and I was fine. Now I have some Eagle 057 Alloys with 3-3/4" backspacing and I'm fine. Maybye that will help hopefully.

I used my stock rims when I spindle lifted my 2000 Trailhead. My stock rims were the 16x7 teardrops (which are still for sale).

you'll be fine if you have those alloys...but if you already have the spacers why not slap em' on to make it look more wide and tough! but your turning radius will be shot if ya do.

wheel spacers/adapters will not affect the turning radius the spindles affect it
