Front Sway Bar Components

Hi all. A ridiculous "Newbie" question. I've worked on Fords for a long time, but tonight while changing out the shocks on my daughter's 1999 Ranger, I noticed a connecting link at each end of the front sway bar. The driver's side link is extremely loose, whereas the passenger side link is nice and tight. Anyone know what this link is called? I'm sure it's having an effect on her ride. I have a '91 Explorer and it has nothing like this.

Thanks in advance.

That would be the sway bar endlink. If you need new ones just go down to the local auto parts store and they should be able to point you in the right direction.
