grinding noise on rt turn

On my 98 4x4 with high miles it is making a grinding noise when you turn right. It doesn't do it sitting still, or turning right and the rotors are smooth. any suggestions?

My 01 Edge does it if I turn right going on an incline or if it is a sharp turn.

I just got the truck and haven't even had it in the garage yet but when I find it I'll let you know what it was.

Could be the outer CV joint on the right halfshaft or one or both front wheel bearings.

I'm thinking wheel bearing. I can't see anything just looking under the truck, no shiney metal anywhere.

checked mine out when I got off of work. I think that it is the lower control arms.
