I beam upper ball joint help

Im dropping my 95' and already have the rear done so now i have to put the new dream beams on which requires me taking spindle off of the i beam, i looked at the upper ball joint and it looks as if it has a bolt that "clamps" the ball joint in place, so i know i have to loosen that but i dont no how to slide the spindle down off the i beam because it looks as if the on piece on top of the ball joint has a lip that doesnt look like it will slide down thru the hole..it looks as if everything else is self explanatory as far as unbolting everything else.. . can ne one tell me how this works, ive never messed with ball joints before, thanks in advance

yes take the bolt out that is threw the upper balljoint mount. that holds your camber bushing in.

you will also need to remove you tie rod end from the spindle knuckle.

pull your camber bushing out, pair of pliers(twist it in circles and pull up) couple screw drivers(pry equal on both sides) may even have to losen the camber bushing clamp(the one you pulled the bolt out of before you were asking about)screw driver, pry bar to open it just a tad, dont go nuts here. , may even spray some pb or whatever to losen any rust.

bottom balljoint nut need to take that off....(dont forget to remove the cotter pin) if its a casle nut, take it off all the way, flip it up side down the the castle part is facing down screw it down till the ball joint studd is in the solid nut part.

mid size hammer (no "waffle" face hammers) smack the lower ball joint area on the beam a few times and it should pop lose, if not, smack the nut a few times EASY not like a sissy, but not like your trying win a prize at the local fair. if you live in the rust belt soak all your stuff well first
