I want to make this as cut and dry as possible..

Hey guys, I have been looking and researching for the last few days and I am just sick of looking... haha

I was hoping you guys could just give me a cut and dry list of what im going to need to get my ranger lifted. I do know I want to get coil spacers for the front and some lift shackles for the back but I DO NOT want to have to buy new control arms. Shocks, I would prefer not to have to rebuy since I just bought them. As of now, my truck sits stock with stock tires. I am planning on putting 31''s on but Im not looking for a truck on stilts. Plus I dont off road too much, just a highway driver, something that will look good.

Heres my trucks specs:
2003 Ranger XLT 2WD regular cab 2.3L engine.

So if I want to get 3'' coil spacers for the front, and 2 inch shackles for the back, what else do I need? If I have to go 2.5 in the front to avoid buying a new control arm I will.

So, what do I need for a complete set. No plastic spacers please!!

Thanks!

Almost sounds like you'd be better off with a body lift. No changing shocks and if it's mainly a highway truck you don't really need the extra ground clearance.

Forgot to mention that I do not want to do a body lift. I have never been a big fan of them.

ok. call doetsch shocks.

Buy a 2" shackle, and a 3" spindle. Dont get spacers or anything of thats sorts.

Rear shocks you will have to get longer (unless you wanna weld new shock mounts).
with the spindle you can keep everything up front.

total cost will be about $600. if you cant swing that much, get a body lift.

when your on a budget, you gotta go with what you can afford or nothing at all. any spacer over 2" will require an arm.

I have 2" blocks, 2" shackles and 3" spindle on 33's.
