Inner tie rod Question

Im still attempting to replace the pass side inner tie rod on my 98 ranger, but i've hit a road block. Im trying to do this without removing the entire steering rack, but i cant seem to remove the inner tie rod boot?? Any suggestions on how to do this? I cant see the clamp to figure out how it does its thing..

Anyways, any help you can offer would be amazing! I need an alignment bad..

at the inside of the boot, there is a crimped on clamp you have to cut off. remove your outer tie rod end (measure the inner and outer for an overall length to get an idea where to put the new one when you get it on) and slide the boot off. turn the wheel fully to the side you want to replace and either loosen it with a pipe wrench or an inner tie rod end socket.

Thanks man, i figured out the clamp last week and was able to get it done. I shoulda just looked at the cv boots next to it, as silly ford used the same clamp style all around!
