If I wanted to jump it i'd drop the $4k for a camburg longarm setup

For $400 bucks that over qualifies as insurance.
Those thing come with the Camburg kit. They are for serious off roading in a 2WD. I've never heard if bent ties due to spindles. Generally spindle failure is in the top of the extended part under the UCA or in the snout where the tire falls off.
