Installed 2" blocks - "bump" when taking off

Over the weekend I installed some 2" lift blocks on my '98 Ranger. I already have Chevy Shackles and Explorer leafs. I have the shackles on the lower setting. Since installing the blocks, I am getting a bump when taking off. If I roll off very slow, it is not felt until I accelerate hard. Seems to me that it might be the famous slip yoke problem? Is there anyway to find out for sure? How do I go about greasing the yoke?

Also, where can I get a set of new u-bolts?

Slip yoke bump, I don't know any ranger that doesn't do it.

Just grease the input shaft...

Check your u-joints and your pinion angle too. When my pinion angle is way off it will clunk really bad.

Thanks for the link... pretty sure I just have a once piece drive shaft though, have to look tomorrow. Might be a different process.

The elusive slip-bump. My Ranger used to do that. I went to the dealership with warranty still active and they replaced the entire driveshaft and associated u-joints. For $100. Granted I probably could've taken it out, greased it and put it back in for less that $10 but oh well.

I have a bump if I "punch it" in reverse (not forward though). However when I go forward again (slow or fast), it bumps again and doesn't do it again unless I punch it in reverse again. If I go into reverse slowly, it doesn't do it. I have 4" blocks. Is this the same problem, or something else??
