lowering my 01 4x4 edge

would like to know if anyone has removed the spacers between the rear spring and axle and had the front end realigned properly/torque rods adjusted for the reduced height? would like a lower ride to help handling. with the front end about 1 in lower than rear. i keep mine on the pavement.

thanks,

michael

I believe there are a few guys who have taken off the stock block and lossened up the t-bars to lower the front. Doesn't seem like hey have problems.

Well uncranking the torsion bars has been done. NicksterSVT has done it. D. has as well. Either of them would be a good source for information. There are a few others as well. A few even have gone with reindexed torsion keys to help with the drop. When messing with torsion bars it's always good to get the front end alignment checked. Removing the lift block can be done but I'm fairly confident that you'll need new u-bolts. Others I'm sure will chime in.
