What is the maximum backspacing I can run with a fabtech spindle lift for a 2006 sport? I want to get the procomp 8089's but they only come in a 4.5 backspacing. I know it says that you can't run anything more than 3.75 for the fabtech spindle, but I was wondering if anyone here has that amount of spacing with this lift.

 

if it doesnt work out just buy a small wheel spacer.

 

if 3.75" is what fabtech calls out in thier instructions, they put it there for a reason.

a spacer to make up that difference would hafta be 3/4"
i wouldnt call that a small spacer. it would require longer studs, or a bolt-on style spacer. both options add extra stress to the hub bearings.

 

They do sell those small spacers at pepboys but i wouldnt go bigger than that because of stress

 

just get a wheel with 3.75 or greater b/s... better to be safe than sorry
