moog upper control arms
when people are replacing the stock upper control arms with the replacment Moog uppers, are you reusing the factory hardware and washers or using the moog specific cam and bolt kit?
I have the control arms but did not buy the moog hardware and alignment kit K80065.

I replaced mine, I have an 01. The control arms came with the new bolts to attach them and that was it. You do not need the alignment kit, but I'm sure you know after you put the new control arms on, you WILL need an alignment.
In the field, an adjustable eccentric is installed in place of the fixed plates to correct the alignment. Kits are available from many sources including MOOG.
So, if the replacement arms with the original plates take the alignment out of spec, you'll need the kit. Unfortunately, there's no real way to know that until everything is assembled and the alignment is checked. IMO, it is smart to just put the kit in now while everything is apart. Then you're covered for any current or future alignments that the truck may need.
