is the t-case on my 1991 (2.9L/manual trans) a fixed or slip yoke? when i lifted my old 96 XJ 8 inches, i has to convert the case from slip t fixed and have a new d/s built, wondering if i will have to do the same with my new ranger

If you're getting a lift kit you probably won't need anything else. If you need them, the kit should come with driveshaft spacers or extended brake lines. You probably won't need them though.

If you're doing this your own way, the answer will depend on how you do it. It can probably be done without new driveshafts or brake lines, but who knows until you do it?
