New Here..A few questions (I've searched! lol)

Hey guys, im new here, but not new to Off Road...
My Project for the past 5 years....

1994 Bronco, 351 bored (357W) completely balanced and blueprinted, 395HP (NA), ZF-5 Manual w/ 5.72 granny and overdrive, and a manual BW1356
SAS Dana 44 (1978) Dana 60 outers, calipers and hubs. Rear FF Sterling 10.25, 4.56 gears and tracloks..but enough about that...

My daily driver is now a 06 Level II. I have researched about the RCD kit, a few questions....

I know I will have to swap to smaller rotors, (06 calipers will work right?)
I know I will have to swap in stiffer coils, and probly a new SL front driveshaft. Im going to run 33x10.50 A/T's on the stock rims. Im going to leave the gears at what they are, they will be fine...

What else should I look out for? Are there any recommendations on what to do or what not to do? Im not going to SAS becuase of the money, lol....I already did that....

Thanks in advance guys!

few things.. first damn nice bronco good work.....

ok first PLEASE dont run cookie cutter 33x10.5 on a 5" lift... please get atleast 33x12.5

yes you do not need to re-gear 4.10 are just fine for 33's...

YES you will need a S/L driveshaft

and the coils should be fine in the beginning its later on when they sag you will need new one's

1) like Zach said, PLEASE dont run 33x1050.. i had 285/75s on a 3" bl and it looked pretty stupid lol, and if your going to get the RCD, SL drive shaft and stiffer coils i think you have a few extra bucks for new wheels, even some $35 steelies..

2) you dont HAVE to regear, but its all up to you. i did 4.88s for 35s when most people are running 4.56s

and i would just upgrade the coils up front, and not have to worry about it down the line

oh, and get some MTs, they look 100x better

its not the caliper is the rotor. the size in 02 is 11.25". 03+ is 12". 12" is too big.

you just need to get a 01-02 rotor.

33x12.5 is a good size.
i agree no need to regear.

the coils are 14" Fox coils that are 550lbs that is what some have run.

Run the 33x 10.5s if you want. I have 285/75 16s (33x11) w/ stock wheels on my RCD and love how they look. It's all about what each person likes because I hate when tires stick pass the fender....it looks like crap and gives to tons of rock chips.

I am also running 4.10s which works great. Lastly, I also got the superlift front driveshaft which is a must because the stock one wont last very long.

yeah i know what the stock ones are but there are people running 14" 550lb fox coils, so i would say either 14 or 12 inch coils should work

I thought i read somewhere that with the RCD kit you need to run a wheel with 4 Inch Backspacing? So i thought stock wheels wouldnt work with the RCD kit? Im sure i could be wrong!

Thank you guys!

Sounds good.
I found Eiibach springs that I would go to if I needed to.....14.00, 750lb spring rate....anyone use them?

I would like run A/t 10.50 for a few reasons, Its my Daily Driver, I need to get thru a lot of snow in the winter, Narrower is better in New England. And I dont wanna get new rims, I love the look of the Alcoa Wheels!

The bronco is the dominant offroad truck/ toy, that has the M/T's.....

I can run the stock wheels right?!?!

Nobody has used 14'' springs on the stock coil-overs because they are made for 12''. Plus, Eibach no longer makes the 12'' 700lb. springs.....at least thats what Summit told me when I ordered them.

Those tires will fit on the stock wheels, like I said, I'm running 33x11s on stock FX4 wheels.

Good Luck....post some pics of the build-up!!!

i dont know how he got them[14" springs] on there if he is. i took mine apart and the 12" barely fit to begin with.

be careful with the stock 15" wheels. l2en had an interference between his stock offset rims and the lower balljoint. it is VERY close. some wheels may clear some may not.

Nice Bronco, and welcome to the site. I've got the same setup, a Bronco for a trail rig, and a Ranger for a daily driver... only my Bronco doesn't look nearly as nice.

You should have no problem with the 33x10.5's in the snow, that's what I run. Don't listen to the guys saying they look bad, they look fine. I'm running BFG A/T's on my Ranger, you can click the link in my sig to see what they look like on a 3" body lift.
