his truck is also a 2wd reg cab with a 3.0

#1's would be way to stiff, go with b-bars or c-bars.

The bar size is computer selected on the assembly line based on equipment. I think you have to supply the VIN of a B bar equipped truck to order the B bars - that's what we ran into trying to get a part numbers for the #1 bars. Apparently, the parts system does not list them in a way that relates the part number directly to the code.

If anyone does get the part numbers for the B bars and/or F's, please post them so we can get that info in the knowledge base.

^^supposedly...but i'd say no. #1's sag alot less(I havn't noticed any sag, but mine are brand new) than the B bars do. My B bars were maxxed out w/ 85k on it.

I believe #1 bars would resist sag, thus keeping the "lift" you set it at. Might be possible to allowing you to lift it up higher too, but at the expense of your ball joints.

Yes you can. I did it, but go look at my post on the previous page and you'll see why I wouldn't recommend doing it.

Unfortunately I don't have B's. I got stuck with F's. How that happened I will never know. Ford did screw me out of my 4.10's when I had it ordered though.
