ok so ive been thinking.....

i have a 02 ext cab 3.0 auto 2wd with 3.73 gears....

i was thinking about instead of lifting it and redoing the rear end and all that, and offroad tires are cheaper.....and gas mileage sucks with the mt's i have and i was thinkin of lowering it with like a 4/5 drop and some mustang 17s.....

what do you guys think as far as what kinda truck i have and all i would have to do to lift it?

thats what i wanted to do, but ford decided that Tbars on a 2wd was a good idea. I think it would be good idea since all that stuff can get expensive. and looks good as hell too

yea hats what i was thinking. 600 for the djm 4/5 drop and i can trade my wheels and tires for some mustang 17s and i wont have to do the gears or anything. and the next stage lift i was goin to go with is over 600 dollars. plus i dont have t-bars so it makes it easy for me

I'd just put it back to stock height or maybe a little lower. Then I'd put some nice wheels and street tires on and call it a day.
