Parent wont let me get a BL!!!!!
As far as lifts go, body lifts will raise your COG the least. They still keep the engine, trans, etc. in the stock place, where all that stuff would go up with the cab/body on a suspension lift. I didn't care to read if anyone had said that before, but that's my two cents.
Funny Thread, you should have just done it, i doubt they would have noticed it.
My GF didnt want me to lift my old truck... i lifted it, and put 31's on it and she didnt even notice, other than to ask "Why is it suddenly so hard to get into your truck? Its like i have to jump in!?!" .... i responded with... "Hmm, i have no idea"

Myfriend had this same problem when he was 18, with a yoda 4X4. He ended up leaving it stock when they threatened to kick him out. They used that same CG argument, and he caved. Personally, I think that as long as you live under their roof, and they pay all the bills, you need to respect their wishes. Now if you are paying rent, and half of the bills, you do what you want as a resposible adult. Untill then, they are still the resposible adults, and what they say goes.
ya im not 23 my cuz made this profile an he never got back on so ikinda stole it lol but ya im only 17 but i pay for gas and half my paycheck goes to them to pay off my truck so it makes it hard to save up money for my truck cuz of gas an payin them off so when i finally get enuf money to get the lift its a bite cuz they said no.so i dont know what to do
sorry i was at a football camp all day. thx for rippin on me lol. but ya i respect my parents and all but i think if i give them the facts that they will give in. my dad keeps saying that my odometer will be off and that everything will need to be changed when i get 33's. so im not sure if hes right or wrong so i cant argue back.

You need to *respect* your parents wishes as you wouldn't even have that truck if not for them.
Technically speaking, its THEIR truck and your have the benefit/privy of driving it. It might not be ' cool ' to ' not have a lift ', but would walking be cooler?
Give it a thought.
