Probably been asked but.....2010 Ranger Question

I have an unmodified 2010 Ranger XLT 4x4. It seems to have a lower stance than earlier models and wanted to double check that 31x10x5x15's would fit without mods. Are the 2008-2010 the same in terms of ride height?

Thanks for the info

good question, I would assume the 10 models are the same ride height as the 08 and 09... but im not sure. can you post some pics of your rear axle? interested in seeing the disk brakes

^^Ditto.

From the pics I've seen of 2010 rear axles(can't find 'em now though), they've got the same 1.5" block that the 08-09 model trucks have. I assume the same factory lowered torsion keys too.

I honestly don't see why a 31x10.50 wouldn't fit. They came stock on the older model trucks and those could fit a 33x10.50 with stock height.

You could check out this thread too....it covers why 08+ torsion bar trucks are so short. Search PreKey mod. It'll put the front of the truck back to 'normal' 4x4 height of 98-07 4x4's with the use of a 98-07 STOCK torsion key. If you do just the key, you'll get about 1.5-2" lift up front with the same adjustment bolt preload and the truck will be very level. After that, you can fit whatever can fit a 98-07 truck....32x11.50's with a small torsion crank.

2010 truck pic

Here's a pic of the truck. I know it's hard to tell from a pic but does it look the same as the 08-09? Does anyone out there have 31's on an unmodified 2009-2010?

Thanks for the help

Looks like it needs a leveling kit

It looks to be the same. I remember when mine was that low.

There was mention of a 1.5" rear block, what was the pre08' block size and part#? I believe the following is correct for the pre08key, F57Z-5B328-B.

Thanks

Your rig kinda looks similar to mine, but mine is 2wd.

I'm with dan24 and the leveling kit suggestion.

As for fitting 31s, I have them on mine. I don't see why YOU can't.

Only mods were trimming the bumper valance and slightly on the upper mud flap on the driver side. No regrets.

Oops.

I read that as 2018...not 2010.

I wouldn't reply to such an old thread, but I was perusing suspension and read the date wrong. My bad
