Get yourself a Chiltons or Haynes shop/repair manual. It'll help out a whole lot if your asking how to do this...

Jack truck up, suspend by the frame using jackstands, wheels off, caliper off(hang it out the way w/o stretching the rubber hose), gently jack up on the lower control arm to hold it still, pop off the tie rod end, pop off the upper ball joint, pop off the lower to remove the spindle w/ rotor still attached, set aside. gently lower the jack to relieve tension from the coil spring...do this slowly. it shouldn't just pop out, but it may, so you might want to get a chain around the spring and the frame so it don't just jump out and kill ya.

to install, get some coil spring compressors and compress the new coils. set the lower side first, then upper, and gently jack up on the lower control arm. there's little notches that the coil is supposed to sit in...you'll see what i'm talking about.

get a shop manual/repair manual.

if you dont live to far from me ill do it for you i didnt even need a coil compressor to get my 3in lift springs in i just jacked the front up sky high took the spindles off and dropped the lower control arms with a jack very slowly till the stock coils wernt compressed anymore slid them out and put the new coil in and jacked it back up to compress it in then installed the spindle and repeat on the other side

And don't expect a ton of lift. LOL I think I only got like 1.5" of lift out of my 2.5" coils. You have to think of the stock coils are going to compress.

how much distance can you extend your coils before your upper arm is in the way of the frame?
