RCD 4wd lift questions. Anyone still running it?

Aloha gang. I have combed through all the threads on the RCD and as far as I know I have addressed the short comings of the kit before it went on. What I was wondering was when the drop bracket failed, what were the driving conditions? Was it fast hard wheeling? Slow rock crawling type of wheeling? I may have missed it in there. Also did the front drive shafts need to be replaced or can she handle for a while..

Thanks,
Keith

Twisted up mine with 4low and reverse trying to pull a big log out of the woods. That was with it already braced up. I had a front locker and 4.88s at the time. Just be easy on it if the front tires are in a bind.

Stock driveshaft lasted a little while. But I did go through 3 of them in about 5 years.

Stock shafts can last 5 or 5,000 miles. Just never know. I bought my kit used and we reinforced it then but it had a crack but was still holding.
