Replacing ball joints
Replacing ball joints
My front end started creaking real bad this week and from searching I've figured it's probably the ball joints. What I'm wondering is if I should replace them right away or is it ok to drive it and deal with the noise for awhile? I ask because I don't have the money to spend right now with hours getting cut and I'd like to wait til work starts picking back up.
its best to get the replaced right away but since you just started noticing them you can get away with putting it off for a little while, maybe like 5k miles is as much as i would go as long as youre not to rough on them
heh, i left mine for a while, my pass. lower and driver upper i know are gone, probably the pass. upper too, the driver lower is good but i need to replace the whole LCA because its FUBAR'd
:(
i would say leave it but dont go too long. can u feel it in the steering wheel when you hit a bump?
