So I'm replacing torsion bars on my 2002 ranger XLT 4x4 and I don't know what kind of t-bars it has I looked at the sticker for the suspension type and I saw that the sticker said 1k for the suspension, but I think K is for the rear leaf springs and the 1 is for the t-bars in the frent, but I thought grade 1 t-bars were the strongest out there, and if so why then is my Rangers front end sitting so low, I mean I just put new max traction shocks in the front and rear because I blew out my shocks jumping my truck, but replacing them helped the ride height but not enough because it seems my tucks front end is still sitting to low, and I'm gana give it a torsion key lift from Rough Country about an extra 1.5" but I don't want to put that much torque on the t-bar unless it's upgraded to handle that. Any one help me with this?
Replacing your shocks will do nothing for the ride height.
Jumping your truck will not only damage your shocks but it could have bent some of your suspension parts or the torsion bars could have rotated in the control arms.

hmm that's not good but wouldnt upgraded torsion barspring with a 1.5 key lift help my ride height?
What you need to find out before you adjust the ride height by replacing parts is what if anything you damaged.
I have seen torsion bars rotate in the lower control arm getting stuck in this new lowered position.
If this rotation happened it can deform the lower control arms hex slots and the torsion bar plus lodge the torsion bars in the control arms ( making it hard if not impossible to remove the torsion bars to install your new upgraded bars )

Just crawl under the truck while it is on jack stands and do a good visual inspection looking for any damage.
Your stock Ranger even one with upgraded torsion bars cannot handle the stress of jumping it.
Going off road is hard enough on a light duty truck like the Ranger, Jumping it will destroy your truck.

well I wish I could post a picture buto I can't figure out how but to sum it up the image you showed me looks just like both the passenger and driver side t-bars and control arms, so I am assuming that's bad and the t-bars are grade F no #1 so that means I have to get those upgraded t-bars. And I am assuming that I have to replace the lower control arm?
What I would do provided no other part looks damaged.
Is to replace the torsion bars and lower control arms with better parts.
You can try to save some money and save the lower control arms yet I am sure it will not be worth the effort to try and remove the torsion bars from the control arms.
